The CIO Scholarship Fund

The CIO Scholarship Fund is a 501(c3) non-profit that was established in 2002 by the Office of the CIO community as a major component of the community's philanthropic program. Our mission is to help build and enhance information technology leadership. Today, we accomplish this primarily through community building and scholarships:

1) We enhance interactions between students, schools, and IT practitioners.  

2) We provide scholarships through local universities to students in economic need.

​

We recognize that individuals who grow through adversity, and those who help them are both building valuable leadership skills. Since its inception, the fund has raised over $1M and has generated countless volunteer hours from IT leaders to local schools.
